Too Much of a Good Thing
I guess that applies to knitting as well. I’ve been doing a ton of knitting this past week, trying to get the Log Cabin Baby Blanket done before I leave town for a conference. (It is too big of a project to pack in my luggage, unless I want to wear the same clothes for an entire week.) Unfortunately, when I woke up this morning, my right hand was in quite a bit of pain.
I’ve managed to figure out what I’m doing to cause the muscle fatigue, so I’ll have to be careful and maybe adjust my grip a bit in the future. For now, no knitting until the hand feels better. I’m hoping I’ll only be out of commission for the weekend, otherwise, I’m not sure what I’m going to do for an entire week at a conference…um…twiddle my thumbs?
I’ll bring a few projects with me, in anticipation that I’ll be fine in no time. I’ll be taking the Spanish Moss Coat because it is small (or at least squishes), plus it will give me one crochet project in case my hand is still giving me a bit of trouble. I’ll also bring my Herringbone Rib Sock to finish and the Vogue stocking to restart. Should be plenty to keep me busy.
