In an effort to get my sewing room clean enough to actually work on some Costume College preparations, I decided that the first task was to finally finish making bumpers for the twins mini cribs. Of course, nowadays, infants are not supposed to have bumpers because they increase the risk of SIDS, but when the twins transitioned to their cribs and were having trouble sleeping because their heads would end up pressed against the wooden slats,I decided to risk it.
For months now, we’ve been making due with a handmedown single bumper set designed for a full size crib. All this time, I’ve also had the materials to make bumpers that actually fit and match my design concept for their room/bedding.
