Updated to-do list
Before I leave work:
Trim and whipstitch the armscye seam.
Finish whipstitching inside seams.
Once I get home:
Attach skirt.
Touch up wig curls.
Sew in wig clips.
Find hair attachment for Cranach gown.
Redo bouquet.
Make placket.
Dye hair.
Make and attach bows.
Pack.
Check into hotel.
Drive home.
Yes, I know those last two don’t seem to go together. My roommate was originally planning on getting in tonight. I was going to check in with her and bring down my stuff so that I don’t have to deal with it tomorrow. Now, my poor roommate is down with the flu and is going to wait until Friday to fly in, so I absolutely MUST get down to the hotel tonight to check in or we may lose our room. (If we change the reservation, we lose the convention room rate because it is no longer available.) I can’t actually stay there tonight because I still have to work in the morning, and staying that hotel puts me at least another half hour away from work.
So, I’ve got a lot to do today. I’d better get back to work.
