Hey! Look at me! I’m posting!
Just sort of a drive by posting, but at least it is something. I had a few things to mention.
My cats are driving me nuts at the moment. They are stalking each other, which means lots of scampering and stuff flying in all directions followed by growling and hissing. Don’t worry, in about twenty minutes they will be curled up side by side on the couch and licking each other to sleep. Sheesh.
I’ve managed to make it half way through the year feeling like I’ll manage okay, only to have the budget crisis kick me in the pants. Hopefully, things will get resolved pretty quickly, otherwise I may end up needing to look for another job. Might start doing that anyway just to be on the safe side and to be a step ahead when the job market gets flooded with hundreds of teachers. Yea, verily, yea. (Sorry, obscure movie reference there.)
So, tomorrow I’m supposed to be at a meeting in the morning, a demo lesson later in the morning, a debriefing session at lunch, and another meeting in the afternoon. BUT, I’m also supposed to be at the county courthouse for a jury summons. Possibly the worst timing evah. There’s not even the consolation of sleeping in–because of the commute time, I have to leave the house at about the same time as I usually do.
In other news, I’ve been asked to teach at Costume Academy again. Yay! I’m doing a sort of abriviated crochet class this time. So, tonight I need to figure out which pattern I’m going to do, and then tomorrow I need to type up a class description. I also need to price out a kit; I want to keep the cost reasonable, but I also don’t want to get burned this time. I usually err on the side of losing money, because I’m just sort of giving like that, but it seriously hurts the pocketbook, which I can’t afford right now. So, I’m off to make some decisions and then some research.

Hey, glad you posted. I was just about to write a note anyway saying, where are you?! Hope the budget gets worked out in your favor!
